what method is best article writing, bloggs,twittering,which is the fastest?
The fastest and most efficient way to obtain traffic is blogging. However to be honest, it is not the best on the long term.
You should plan on obtaining traffic from the highest source of traffic, from search engines.
To get traffic to your website from search engines, you need to optimize your website to obtain higher ranking in search engines, here are some good ideas to help you do so:
1st try to get more back links to your website and the easiest way to do thats is by submitting your website to free web directories such as:

http://www.dmoz.org
http://www.surformation.com
Backlinks provide higher ranking in search engine, but most importantly, links drive direct traffic to your website when visitors clicks on your links.
2nd Try promoting your website on social networking and internet communities such as

http://www.digg.com,
http://www.stumbleupon.com
This is where web surfers are spending a big deal of their time, so have your share of visitors.
3rd and most importantly, provide quality content, this is an indirect way to get back links by genuinely driving people to link to your website.
4th make sure that your meta tags ( web page titles and description) match the content of your pages, this is a huge part of search engine optimization and drives traffic from search engine to your website

I have this website that I’ve been working on for just over a month and I’m trying to find ways to improve it’s traffic and get it noticed. I’ve done things such as post videos on youtube, left comments on other blogs and websites related to my topic. Joined social networks such as blog-catalog and twitter, and still my traffic is low. What am I doing wrong or what am I overlooking that I should be doing because frankly i’m stumped and very frustrated. My website is called The Razors Edge it’s a post apocalypse survival guide ( www.therazors-edge.com ) if anyone could give me some advice of what I could or should be doing I’d really appreciate it
Articles. Write and submit articles to article directories, blogs, forums, ezines and any other place online that allows submission of free articles. This is one of the best ways to use because these articles will provide a lot of backlinks over time.
Plus articles can be viral and spread all over the internet. For example ezone publishers can pick them up and put them online in the ezine. These can be archived for years to come.
2. Blogs. Find other blogs that are related to your niche and visit them. These blogs have places to leave comments where you can include your website. Just be sure you make a legitimate comment and don’t just spam different blogs or the link building will not be effective.
3. Forums. Find forums related to your niche and get involved. Start reading posts, answering questions and asking them. Be sure to set up you signature file so that each time you get involved your website will be left behind which builds many backlinks.
4. Videos. Google owns You Tube and they rank videos very highly on their search engine. When you submit a video you can link it back to your website. This gives you a very good backlink and can give you some very good traffic as well.
5. Reciprocal linking. Trading links still works as well. You put their link in your resource directory and they repay the favor by putting yours in their directory.
The key is to keep the link relevant to the theme of your site. Search engines like it this way and so do your visitors. Trading links is very easy to do.
The most effective scheme that would increase web traffic is to make sure that your website is on top of the Google ranks. All you need to do is to know the online resources which you can use to push your sites to GOOGLE PAGE 1.
Getting page 1 is realistic. For example, check FreeTrafficSystem.com in Google search engine- they are on PAGE 1 in Google. Hi! I recently made a blogshop which is hosted on LiveJournal, but I’d like help increasing the traffic to the webpage. I’ve already submitted the site to search engines and made a complimentary eBay account. I’m looking into making a twitter, blog, and facebook account as well. Any other suggestions?

My two suggestions would be email marketing (http://www.RomanArtAndMarketing.com) and article marketing. I just wrote about article marketing. I’ll paste it here:

Where can I find rough estimates about how much revenue or profit websites like Facebook. Twitter, FML or 43things make? Also, it would be helpful to find out how much traffic they get as well as how much they get paid by google ads per visitor (or any other sources of revenue)?
Like billions and most of the ideas came for 1 or 2 boys sitting in a room making a site started of as £0 then turned to billions so never give up
