If you have been utilizing Twitter more than a day or two, you have probably come to the realization that there’s more to it than meets the eye. What on the surface looks like a piece of cake, upon further scrutiny is more complicated than you thought.
Because I want to know how to use Twitter to enhance my business, I bought about every program out there. A lot of the information contained in most of the programs is repetitive and is freely available on the internet if you just take the time to explore.
It is key before you go and just blindly add followers, to take a minute and step back, is this really what you want to do? If you will notice, some of the “gurus” have a very select list of people they follow, and they won’t follow you back.
You may want to develop a small select group that you interact with. Not everyone wants or needs thousands of followers, again depends on your objectives.
One of the most universal products I found that was most helpful, was Twitter Manifesto. I felt it gave me the most value for my money.
If you are a businessman/businesswoman and are really serious about learning how to use Twitter, you can’t go wrong with Twitter Power System. It’s more expensive but has a lot more detail. Everything from helping you set your Twitter goals, how Twitter interfaces with social media, and how to use Twitter for business. As the name implies, this is a system and like everything else in internet marketing, you need a system.
Starting out in Twitter, go slowly at first, figure out the fundamentals, then go for it. Twitter and Web 2.0 is powerful if you know how to use it.

I’m currently using Twitter, but not sure how it’s working out!
Yes! Facebook actually does targeted ads, and lets you set your own price per impression or per click.
I would recommend using the per click option, because that means that people are actually getting to your site, the minimum amount to spend per day is $1, but you actually have to have twice that, so up to $2 in reserve, you can put it on hold at anytime, and its easy to setup.

I’ve just added my mobile device to twitter and wondered if them texting me or me texting them costs my any additional money? I’m with Rogers (who seems to charge you for everything) but I have 2500 free texts a month (basically unlimited) so would I still get charged ?
You’ll never really succeed in this life until you learn this cardinal rule:
There Ain’t No Such Thing As A Free Lunch.
Of course it costs money…it not only costs you, it costs the recipient of your twit-text. Wanna save money? Don’t send trivial, pointless crap, but only message someone when it’s important!

What online B-to-B marketing channels and tactics will your company emphasize in 2009 and why?
a. Blogging
b. Search engine optimization
c. Social networking (ie. Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
d. E-mail marketing
e. Pay per click advertising
f. Widgets/Podcasts
g. Online banner advertising
h. Webinars
i. Other
Probably a combination of A and C because both are low cost and have the potential for a large ‘reach’ (bit audience).

I have had my ebay store for the past 2 years. I managed to do all I could and still feel like I am seriously lacking huge traffic unlike most of my competitors. They can get hits of 125 the first day, while I am so ar behind.
I belong to various sites
Chictopia
myspace
Blogger
twitter
facebook
even goodle ads which actually does nothing for me.
I even tried expanding keywords.
Can someone let me know what I MIGHT not be doing or doing wrong?
Here is my website

I posted this answer on another question. I think that it is relevant for yours as well.
You may want to consider creating a stand alone website rather than an ebay shop. You can link to your shop from the site, but it will give you the freedom to really promote your business.
You are on the right track in recognizing the need to optimize your site. Keep in mind that SEO is an ongoing process. There are lots of ways to promote your site and gain more traffic.
Here are some ideas:
1. Add your business to online directories (with a link to your website).
2. Update your site content on a monthly basis.
3. Make sure to use your "keywords" in the text of your website.
4. Make certain to mention your company name numerous times within the text of your site.
5. Create a blog or profile on a social network.
I hope these ideas help.

What is the best way to market my question and answers website?
I have cool features but basically no users. I have features such as twitter updates, show user can show their youtube videos in there profile, users can upload an image with their question, users can comment/reply on other answers, users can save an unfinished question and finish it later, users can ask and answer any amount of questions, and more. What can I do to market my new site? I was thinking a contest of $50 , but how would I get the word out to people?
1. you can post add in news papers
2. advertise using adds such as Googl or yahoo services
3. add your website in search engines
4. place links of some cool websites (such as www.ysapak.com
and www.fysisoft.com)

Outsiders want to help but the protesters say stay out. Iranians have called Obama's statements “pitch perfect.”
Cartoon of the difficulties the fascists are having: "Expel all of the correspondents! But they are all correspondents!" http://www.boston.com/bostonglobe/editorial_opinion/outofline/2009/06/tehran_twitters.html
Former Prince Reza Pahlavi tells US National Press Club how outsiders can contribute to the people of Iran, he said: 1. They appreciate media's generous attention to their plight. 2. Keep political leaders informed about the brutal violence of plain clothed thug who harm unarmed people. 3. Do not interfere. Attempts will give tyrants excuse. Don't fall for cruel cynicism for political gain. He cries for the people and Neda.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zv5VMShOyk
Heart touching Author Melody Moezzi says: Politics doesn't matter anymore. The government is murdering its people, even her relatives whom supported Amadinajab are upset. We are all in the opposition now. You cannot beat our grandmothers and expect us to support you. Iranians care about freedom and people not the government. Do not be afraid Neda. Give us her power. The people will win. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTk7oBodXmU
Independent Journalist Kouross Esmaeli says Senator “bomb bomb Iran” has no credibility with anyone in Iran, is ignorant of Iran's history, and is just trying to score political points. How Non-Iranians can help:
- Change your location and time zone on Twitter to Tehran, Iran (that’s GMT+3:30).
- Change your profile icon to green in some way.
- Set up a proxy and send a DM to @ProtesterHelp.
- DO NOT retweet posts verbatim from Iran. This puts the users at risk. The Iranian Minstry of the Interior is watching Twitter closely now. Don’t use names and reword the post.
- Submit e-mails to CNN, MSNBC, Fox and other news sources about the Iranian Revolution; demand more coverage.
- DO NOT DDOS (PageReload) Iranian government websites. It slows all Iranian traffic, doing more harm than good in this information war. Source: http://gr88.tumblr.com/post/124416676/how-non-iranians-can-help-twitter
Sign UN petition, marches, contact UN and White House requesting some type of intervention by the the UN to stop this horror.
What else can I do?
Very simple. Not to interfere their internal crisis. Lets they solve it them self like US internal affair are un touch by anybody else.
